Typically we talk about pace in terms of physical activity, but it is the consistent and continuous speed at which we do any activity–including working.
The thing we get wrong is that pacing isn’t about winning the race; it is about being able to finish the race.
In our professional lives, there is a relationship between pace and capacity. We have a different capacity for work depending on the season of life that we are in, and many people aren’t working at a pace that is sustainable.
In today’s episode, we are talking about how to know your own capacity, the pace changes during different seasons during different seasons of work and personal lives, and practices that we can use to help us to recognize and evaluate our pace.
Be sure to stay tuned for the simple calls to action at the end to help you to be more aware of your capacity so that you can set your pace.
